Residents at Waterloo House have been enjoying taking part in National Gardening Week, getting involved in a range of hands-on gardening activities.
There’s been a lovely buzz around the home as residents helped prepare pots and soil, ready for planting. This year, everyone got involved in planting sunflowers and had a chance to get involved at their own pace, making it a truly inclusive activity that everyone could enjoy. There’s already lots of excitement about watching the sunflowers grow in the coming weeks.
A simple but enjoyable activity that brought people together—and hopefully some colourful results very soon!
