We are delighted to announce that Distinguished Care has been named a finalist in the Innovation in Care Homes category at the Leaders in Care Awards 2026.

This recognition celebrates the innovative approaches being developed across the adult social care sector, and we are incredibly proud that Distinguished Care’s commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care has been recognised.

Being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement for our teams across Thomas Knight Nursing Home, Waterloo House and Harwood Court, and reflects the hard work, dedication and creativity of our colleagues in continually looking for new ways to enhance life for the people we support.

The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at the achievements of individuals and organisations working across adult social care will be celebrated.

We are proud to be finalists and excited to celebrate alongside so many inspiring people and organisations from across the sector.
